METHOD
-
Pick, wash and soak dal for 30 mins.

Place dal in a bhagona and add water. Salt and let it boil while removing
scum
-
Peel and chop onions, garlic, ginger, tomatoes, green chillies and put it in
heated oil with cumin seeds and asafetida and cook it. Put this tempering on
the dal and mint

Let it cook.

Serve hot and garnish with coriander leaves.
