BRINJAL BHURTA

 

 

INGREDIENTS

Brinjal

225 gm

Onion

115 gm

Green chillies

5 gm

Turmeric

 A pinch

Red chilli powder

½ tsp

Cumin powder

½ tsp

Garlic

4/5 flakes

Oil

25 ml

Green coriander

½ bunch

Salt

To taste

 

 

METHOD

 

  • Roast or boil brinjals.

  • Remove skin and mesh.

  • Slice half onions and chop the remaining half onion and green chillies and garlic.

  • Heat fat, fry sliced onions, add meshed, brinjals, turmeric, cumin powder, chilli powder, salt. Cook for few minutes.

  • Remove from fire. Add chopped onion and serve garnish and chopped green coriander.
